Fault indicator
The Fault status indicator reports events or situations that must be
responded to by the operator. Normal operation may be affected or will be
shortly.
Gray: OK. The Echo liquid handler is ready for use.
Red: One or more of the following is true:
EMO indicator
There are two EMO (Emergency Motion Off) switches; one on the front and
one on the rear of the Echo liquid handler.
Gray: OK. The Emergency Off switches are in their normal, not activated
position.
Red: An Emergency Off switch has been activated. Power has been turned
off to many internal Echo electrical devices. For a full discussion of the
Emergency Off switch, when it should be used, and how to power on an
Echo liquid handler after the Emergency Off switch has been used, see
"Emergency Off switch" on page
Fluid leak indicator
Sensors inside the Echo liquid handler check for coupling fluid in the
bubbler catch basin or lower pan.
Green: No fluid leak has been detected.
Red: Fluid has been detected in the lower pan or excess fluid has been
detected in the catch basin. The coupling fluid pump has been turned off.
The user should call Labcyte Technical Support.

The user-supplied compressed air supply is <552 kPa (<80 psi).

20.2°C – 24.0°C.
