3.5 POWER DOOR LOCKS/RKE
3.5.1 CENTRAL LOCKING
Th e Cen t r a l Lockin g Syst em locks a ll veh icle
door s if a n y door is locked fr om t h e in side or
m ech a n ica lly locked wit h t h e key fr om t h e ou t side.
H owever, u n lockin g a n y door, in t h a t m a n n er, will
on ly u n lock t h a t pa r t icu la r door. Th e Ma st er Door
Lock Swit ch on t h e da sh en a bles t h e oper a t or t o
lock/u n lock a ll door s. By pr essin g t h e t op of t h e
r ocker t ype swit ch on ce, a ll door s will lock. P r essin g
t h e swit ch a ga in will u n lock a ll door s. P r essin g t h e
lower pa r t of t h e swit ch on ce will lock a ll door s
except t h e dr iver door. P r essin g t h e lower pa r t
a ga in will u n lock a ll door s except t h e dr iver door. If

r efer r ed t o a s t h e Cen t r a l Lockin g Modu le. If a ll
door s a r e closed a n d a r e u n locked, a n d a n y door is
locked by t h e key or t h e in t er ior h a n dle, t h er eby
ch a n gin g t h e com m a n d swit ch , a ll door s will be
locked. If on e of t h e door lock m ot or s does n ot r ea ch
t h e en d posit ion a ft er a lockin g com m a n d, it will be
det ect ed by t h e CTM (com m a n d swit ch n ot in
Locked posit ion ) a n d t h e veh icle will be u n locked.
3.5.2 REMOTE KEYLESS ENTRY (RKE)
