CW/CCW COMPASS MANUAL SLAVE SWITCH

manual/automatic compass
slave switch in the
FREE position,
allows
manual compass
card slaving in either the
clockwise or
counterclockwise
direction. The switch is spring
loaded
to
the
center
position.
SLAVING METER
--
lndicates
the
difference between
the
displayed heading and
the
magnetic
heading.
Up
deflection
indicates
a
clockwise error
of
the
compass
card.
Down
deflection indicates
a
counterclockwise error
of the
compass
card.
