When the self-diagnostic series successfully ends, the Startup screen appears.

If the screen is blank, the failure might have prevented the program from
controlling the LCD display.
Restart
Restart the program by turning the power switch off and back on. If
characters fail to appear a second time, contact Waters Technical Service.

Extended tests

After the automatic self-diagnostic routine ends, select the extended test
routine by pressing the decimal (.) key on the keyboard.
Perform the extended test routines if you suspect your problem originates
with the controller, and you want to pinpoint the malfunction.
