4.6.2 Establish Ethernet connection

Establishing a connection between a PC and an easyE4 base device
In order to be able to establish a connection, your PC must first have the required Eth-
ernet capability. This capability can be in the form of a local Ethernet port on the PC or a
standard adapter (e.g., USB-to-Ethernet adapter).
The PC's and the easyE4 base device's IP addresses must fall within the same range,
i.e., the addresses' first two or three numbers must be the same, while the last number
must be different and not equal to 0.
Check the easyE4 device's IP address.
To do this, open the INFORMATION\ACTUAL CONFIG menu and scroll to IP
ADDRESS.
