3.4.3 Operating the CDVI with vacuum/low pressure

Note the following if the following separator plate combina-
tions are used:
Ventilation via
EP-L and EP-R and EB-ZV
EP-L and EP-R and EB-ZV
EP-L and EP-R and EB-ZV
Note
The valves with ident. code H, K and N (2x3/2-way valves)
are not permitted for operation with vacuum/low pressure.
A pneumatic spring takes over resetting these valves to the
normal position. This spring is operated with the operating
pressure (channel (1)). An operating pressure of at least 3
bar is required for resetting the valve.
Operate these valves in a separate pressure zone.
The operating pressure for this pressure zone must be
set in accordance with the diagram in appendix A,
Fig. A/1 .
Thefollowing requirements must be fulfilled so that you can
operate the CDVI at the supply port (1) with vacuum or low
pressure between -0.9...3 bar:
Exhaust via
EP-L or EP-R
