Dismantling/fitting the CDVI

Provided that the CDVI is easily accessible, it need not be
dismantled when the following components are replaced or
removed:
Valves or blanking plates
Expansion block
End plates
Proceed as follows:
1. If spacer bolts are used, remove these from the mounting
surface.
2. Disconnect the tubing at the working lines (2/4), at the
supply ports (1, 12/14), at the pressure compensation
port (L), and at the exhaust ports (3/5, 82/84) (see
chapter 3.2 "General connection technology")
3. Disconnect the electrical connections:
CDVI with MP connection:
Loosen the electric multi-pin by removing the left-hand
end plate (see section 5.5.4 "End plates").
CDVI with DI connection:
Disconnect the electrical connections of the CDVI with DI
connection (see appropriate manual for the CDVI with
fieldbus direct connection).
Proceed as follows:
1. Connect the electric multi-pin by fitting the left-hand end
plate (see section 5.5.4 "End plates").
2. Install the pneumatic ports (see chapter 3.2 "General
connection technology")
3. Mount the CDVI on its mounting surface (see chapter 2
"Assembly")
