5. Cleaning, maintenance and conversion

Inserting the separator plate and, if necessary, an expan-
sion block
CDVI with two pressure zones
Note
CDVI with two expansion blocks and two pressure zones:
– Channel (1) or channels (3) and (5) may only be
separated once.
– If during pressure zone separation, channel (1) and
channels (3) and (5) are separated, this can be accom-
plished as follows:
– At a common position by means of the separator plate
type CDVI5.0-EB-DZPR.
– At a common position by means of the separator plate
type CDVI5.0-EB-DZP and at a further position by
means of the separator plate type CDVI5.0-EB-DZR.
1. Remove the right-hand end plate (see section 5.5.4

"End plates").

2. Insert the appropriate separator plate into the guide
sleeves of the standard expansion block.
3. Place the standard expansion block next to the manifold
block (see Fig. 5/3).
4. Repeat point 2 if your CDVI is fitted with a second expan-
sion block. Place this expansion block next to the first
expansion block.
5. Assemble the right-hand end plate (see section 5.5.4
"End plates").
