In the case of valves with two solenoids coils, solenoid
coil 14 occupies the less significant address and solenoid
coil 12 occupies the higher-value address.

In the case of valves with only one solenoid coil, the
higher-value address remains unused.
The following diagram shows the addressing sequence using
the example of the CDVI with 9 valve positions.
