Please note
Larger or simultaneously operated cylinders create a back-
pressure in the exhaust channel of the valve terminal. The
height of this backpressure depends on the exhaust capac-
ity of the silencer. In order to prevent reciprocal effects
with neighbouring valves, valves can be separated by
means of channel separation with plate S. The pressure
zone to the left of separator plate S can be exhausted via
the plug-in silencer provided. With more than two valve
plates in such a pressure zone, a further additional supply
plate with additional exhausting may be necessary. It is
therefore an advantage to implement the high demands
placed on the exhausting in the pressure zone which is
exhausted via the right-hand end plate.
Note
Make sure that pressure zones, which are supplied via
separator plates, are sufficiently pressurized or ex-
hausted.
With two or more valve functions per pressure zone,
additional compressed air supply/exhausting may be
necessary (additional pressure supply plate Ident. code:
U). This occupies one valve position.
The CPV-SC valve terminal with connection 12/14 on the left
end plate can be operated with vacuum or low pressure
(< 3 bar), if regulated external pilot air is supplied.
