Note
Handle all the components of the CDVI with great care.
Note especially the following when mounting components:
Screws must be fitted accurately (otherwise threads will
be damaged).
Screws must be fastened only by hand. Screws must be
fitted so that the self-cutting threads can be used.
The specified torques must be observed.
Threaded connections must be mounted free of offset
and mechanical tension.
Avoid an offset between the components, otherwise the
protection class requirements may no longer be fulfilled
(see Appendix A, "Technical data").
Check the seals for damage before fitting (IP 65).
Make sure that the connecting surfaces are clean
(avoid leakage and contact errors).
In the case of components ordered at a later date,
observe also the fitting instructions supplied.
Caution
Components may be damaged if they are not handled
correctly.
Observe the handling specifications for electrostatically
sensitive devices.
Discharge yourself of static electricity before fitting or
removing the components in order to protect the
modules against static discharges.
Do not touch the contact surfaces of the plug connectors
on the sides of the components.
