REP 14.2 Scanner Components (3635)

Removal
WARNING
Switch off the electricity to the machine. Disconnect the power cord from the customer
supply while performing tasks that do not need electricity. Electricity can cause death or
injury. Moving parts can cause injury.
Before performing this procedure, refer to
1. Remove the DADF, PL 5.10 Item 1.
2. Remove the UI assembly, REP 2.1.
3. Remove the rear cover assembly, left cover and right cover,
Do not allow the optics cavity to become contaminated. Contamination of the optics cavity can
cause image quality defects.
4. Remove the scanner cover, Figure 1.

Remove 4 screws.

Release 3 clips at each side, then
remove the scanner cover.
