11.2.4 Loading the firmware in the Teldat-3Ge-USB 3G module

(1) If this is a module manufactured by Siemens, access the monitoring menu for the Teldat-3Ge-USB monitoring
rcellular interface that you want to upgrade. If this is a module manufactured by Sierra Wireless, access the
monitoring menu for the rcellular upgrade interface.
(2) Execute the module upgrade-frm command to start loading for the module. If you have not preloaded the up-
grade file in the RAM, you will receive an error message.
(3) Wait until the process finishes. During this process, indications and messages will appear indicating the upgrad-
ing progress and status. These messages and points can be different depending on the type of module you are
upgrading.
(4) Once the downloading process has finished, check that the version the 3G has is the correct one ( list command
in the monitoring rcellular interface).
