Teldat S.A.
(2) Not all parameters need to be present.
(3) If a parameter is not sent, the results depend on the value of the default parameter.
(4) If you need to enter a special parameter, use the % symbol followed by the ascii value with 2 hexadecimal di-
gits.
(5) Some parameters have an abbreviated version. For example, the abbreviation of webpassword is wp.
The Teldat-3Ge-USB configuration parameters are as follows:
• The first parameter, antenna, (mandatory) is the word the Teldat-3Ge-USB waits to receive from the router to ac-
cept the router's DHCP response.
• "apn=internet.es", configures the APN for the 3G network, which the Teldat-3Ge-USB device is connected to.
This is only relevant in generic mode.
• "pin=NNNN", configures the PIN number for the SIM card used in the Teldat-3Ge-USB. This is only relevant in
generic mode.
• "coveragetimer=N", or "ct=N" , configures the sampling period for the 3G network coverage values (Rx_level,
RSCP and EcIo). The N value should be between 10 and 3600 seconds. Default, N, is 10 seconds. This is only rel-
evant in generic mode.
• "routertype=generic", or "rt=generic" , configures the Teldat-3Ge-USB to operate in generic mode (mode used
when operating with a Cisco router). Said parameter is required to change from Teldat mode to generic mode, as
the Teldat-3Ge-USB is configured in Teldat mode by default.
• "accm=FFFFFFFF" , is the Asynchronous Control Character Map. This is a hexadecimal value and default is 0.
• "telnetaccess=enable/disable" , or "ta=enable/disable" , enables or disables Telnet access to the Teldat-
3Ge-USB. Default is enabled.
• "webpassword=password " , or "wp=password" , sets the HTTP access password for the Teldat-3Ge-USB.
Password is teldat by default.
• "restart=1" , the Teldat-3Ge-USB is reset after saving the configuration. After restarting, this parameter must be
deleted to avoid forcing further restarts.
• "default=yes/no" ,
• "atbeforepin=", or "bef=", AT command sent before configuring the PIN. Please see the atafterpin parameter.
• "atafterpin=", or "aft=", AT command sent after configuring the PIN. This is usually used to send a specific net-
work or modem parameter. For example, to configure the typical American frequency band:
bef=AT^SCFG=Radio/Band/Group,1.
• "flowcontrol=N", or "flow=N", indicates transmission and reception of packets is monitored. If nothing is received
after N transmitted packets, the connection to the router and the WWAN network access module is restarted. Con-
figure a value between 20 and 65535 packets.
• "rxtimeout=T", or "rxto=T", indicates transmission and reception of packets is monitored. If no response is re-
ceived to a transmitted packet after T seconds, the connection to the router and the WWAN network access mod-
ule is restarted. Configure a value between 10 and 86399 seconds.
• "ntpserver=AAA.BBB.CCC.DDD" , or "ntps=AAA.BBB.CCC.DDD", NTP server IP address used to synchronize
the device.
• "ntpinterval=T", or "ntpi=T", time between synchronization requests. Interval default value is 3600 seconds.
• "clientid=no", or "cid=no", disables the option to send the client identifier in DHCP requests. This is intended for

- yes: Default values are used and specified parameters applied. This is default
behavior.
- no: Default values are not used. The most recently configured settings are kept
plus any changes specified in them. This is the value you should have if you
want to modify the parameters via web access.
- If "flowcontrol=no" then monitoring is not executed.
- "flowcontrol=no" by default.
- If "rxtimeout =no" then monitoring is not executed.
- "rxtimeout=300" seconds by default.
