This manual is intended for technicians who have a basic knowledge of configuring Teldat devices in
WWAN, PPP protocol, PPPoE and L2TP connections.
We recommend consulting the Teldat-3Ge-USB installation manual (Dm398-I Teldat-3Ge-USB Install-
ation) prior to reading this document.
If you are working with Cisco routers, we recommend using PPPoE for the data connection between
the router and the Teldat-3Ge-USB. We provide some configuration examples of the Teldat-3Ge-USB
device with Cisco routers, including potential problems and solutions, in section 12 "Practical Cases" .
We strongly recommend that you read this section.
