2.1 Creating the rcellular interfaces
The following configuration lines are normally found at this point in a WWAN interface configuration:
set data-link at cellular1/0
set data-link at cellular1/1
set data-link at cellular1/2
With the Teldat-3Ge-USB however, these lines are replaced by rcellular devices plus the monitor-ifc #, ppp-ifc #
or upgrade-ifc #commands in each interface's configuration in the network rcellular menu. These tell the application
what function each interface is going to have and which Teldat-3Ge-USB device they correspond to; the number fol-
lowing each monitor-ifc, ppp-ifc and upgrade-ifc command identifies the Teldat-3Ge-USB they are associated with. If
we have a configuration with two Teldat-3Ge-USBs, we can see which device each interface corresponds to by look-
ing at the identifier following the monitor-ifc, ppp-ifc and upgrade-ifc commands.
add device rcellular 1
add device rcellular 2
add device rcellular 3

The sequence of events when the device starts up is as follows:
• The L2TP sessions try to open when they detect an rcellular interface.
• Once the L2TP session is open, the link layer is considered established on this interface.
• Next, connection is attempted using the AT commands through the rcellular1 interface.
• Finally, the PPP connection is established through the rcellular2 interface.
