The TFTP server must be accessible through the LAN as during the teleloading process, the 3G con-
nection is lost.

11.1.2 Teleloading process

To access the console through Telnet, use the user monitor and the password teldat (this is default if it hasn't been
changed).
Once in the Teldat-3Ge-USB console, execute the wwanupgrade command with the following arguments:
• BOOTFILE: name of the firmware's bootloader file, with extension, you are going to download.
• APPFILE: name of the firmware's main application file, with extension, you are going to download.
• IP-ADDRESS: this argument is optional and is the TFTP server's IPv4 address that has the file we're going to telel-
oad. If you don't include this, the Teldat-3Ge-USB will use, as TFTP server, the one it has configured to download
its own firmware (fwethant.img). This must go in the following format: aaa.bbb.ccc.ddd.
If we put help as an argument for the wwanupgrade command, the following description of the command appears:
Enter a command>wwanupgrade help
Upgrades WWAN module firmware
Usage: wwanupgrade BOOTFILE APPFILE [IP-ADDRESS]
Substitute BOOTFILE with firmware upgrade Boot file name with extension
Substitute APPFILE with firmware upgrade Main Application file name with extension
Optional: substitute IP-ADDRESS with TFTP server IPv4 address in format aaa.bbb.ccc.ddd
Example: wwanupgrade MC878XC_DLEX_F1.0.0.8.cwe MC878XC_F1.0.0.20.cwe 192.168.1.33

Subsequently, the steps for the teleloading process are described and the messages the application puts on the con-
sole screen.
Note
Do not, under any circumstances whatsoever switch off or turn on the Teldat-3Ge-USB during this pro-
cess. The 3G module may become inoperative if you do.
First, the initial tasks are carried out to prepare the 3G module to put it in teleloading mode:
