3.5 Configuring a Teldat router in generic mode

Like the Cisco router, the Teldat router can be connected to the Teldat-3Ge-USB in generic mode implementing a
client-initiated connection, i.e. the L2TP tunnel between the router and the Teldat-3Ge-USB only activates when
there is traffic to transmit to the WWAN network.
In said operating mode,only one tunnel established between the router and the Teldat-3Ge-USB: a single client-
initiated L2TP session and a single PPP session, transmitted over the previous L2TP tunnel. The PPP session ex-
ecutes authentication with the WWAN network and to get an IP address.
Voice backup configuration is the same as the Teldat mode.
