8.2 Two routers and two Teldat-3Ge-USB devices
For two routers and two Teldat-3Ge-USB devices on the same Ethernet network. Each router acts as a DHCP serv-
er for each Teldat-3Ge-USB respectively.
The DHCP configuration for one Teldat router is identical to the one used in the router+Teldat3Ge-USB scenario.
The following configuration corresponds to the Teldat mode for router1:
protocol dhcp
; -- DHCP Configuration --
server
; -- DHCP Server Configuration --
subnet subnetea 0 network 172.24.0.0 255.255.0.0
subnet subnetea 0 bootfile fwethant.img
subnet subnetea 0 next-server 172.24.78.29
subnet subnetea 0 router 172.24.78.29
;
enable
;
host eth-ant 0 ethernet 00-a0-26-53-29-02
host eth-ant 0 fixed-ip 172.24.78.31
host eth-ant 0 option 43 asc antenna
And for router 2:
protocol dhcp
; -- DHCP Configuration --
server
; -- DHCP Server Configuration --
subnet subnetea 0 network 172.24.0.0 255.255.0.0
subnet subnetea 0 bootfile fwethant.img
subnet subnetea 0 next-server 172.24.78.30
subnet subnetea 0 router 172.24.78.30
;
enable
;
host eth-ant 0 ethernet 00-a0-26-53-29-03
host eth-ant 0 fixed-ip 172.24.78.32
host eth-ant 0 option 43 asc antenna
For a Cisco router, the DHCP configuration for router1 is as follows:
