Covering Caps

Covering caps are available for terminal blocks with threaded terminals. The caps en-
hance the safety of personnel by covering the terminal screws; thereby, decreasing
the likelihood of inadvertent contact with the live terminals.
The caps snap on to the terminal blocks, and can easily be removed with a 6x1-mm
screwdriver. All of the terminal block screws must be tightened to apply a cap.
There are two types of covering caps, as shown in Figure 2-7. Ordering information is
provided in Section A.1 in the Appendix.
