Add the BNC adapter (#5871143Y04) to the XTS2500 radio antenna connector. (See
Figure 21-10.)

Attach the BNC connector of the antenna cable (FKN8434A) to the radio's BNC adapter.
Route the antenna cable through the small wire clamps along the left side edge of the RTU
chassis, according to the placement of the radio on the chassis. Attach the N-type connector at
the other end to the opening on the bottom of the RTU housing using the supplied locking
washer and nut. (See Figure 21-10.)
7.
Mount the radio/bracket unit on the metal bracket (#0789422V40 from FHN6674A)
using the four supplied screws.
8.
Mount the metal bracket on the RTU chassis above the I/O modules, using the three built-
in screws, with the bottom of the radio towards the chassis. (See Figure 21-10.)
9.
Attach all cables to the chassis using the supplied wire clamps.
