7-3-6 Deceleration point setting

• When automatic deceleration point calculation is disabled, the deceleration point needs to be set from the CPU
module.
In this case, the deceleration point register is not counted up or down, nor cleared to zero when positioning is
completed. (The data of the deceleration point register is rewritten from the CPU module.)
• When positioning is stopped due to error detection or by the stop command, the deceleration point register is
cleared to zero. Be sure to reset the deceleration point register before operation is started after having been
stopped.
• The detection of the deceleration point by the comparator is the same as in automatic calculation. Namely, the
command pulse register is counted down according to the command pulse.
The command pulse register (the remaining number of output pulses) is compared with the deceleration point
register.
Deceleration is started from the point at which the following relationship holds true:
Deceleration point register > Command pulse register
• When the set value of the deceleration point register is greater than the number of output pulses during
deceleration, the remaining number of pulses are output at the frequency which is set in the base frequency
register.
Precaution:
· When acceleration/deceleration is disabled, even if automatic deceleration point calculation is enabled, the
deceleration point register is forcibly cleared to zero, and deceleration is not performed.
