7-3-1 Positional deviation calculation function

• The method to monitor positional deviation by the pulse train command and feedback pulse count is shown below:
Processing for positional deviation monitoring
1) Pulse count data
2) Frequency data

1) Pulse count data
• This is the data for the increment of pulse count which is sent from the CPU module.
(Pulse count data is set in the command pulse register or FIFO buffer.)
2) Frequency data
• This is frequency command data sent from the CPU module.
(Frequency data is set in the target frequency register, FIFO buffer, or set value data area.)
3) Pulse generator
• Outputs the command pulses for positioning.
4) Deviation counter
• Calculates the difference between the command pulse input and feedback pulse input.
• This module monitors only the difference between command and feedback (not reflected on control).
5) Count pulse select
• Selects the command pulse signal or feedback pulse signal and outputs the selected signal to the deviation
counter.
When Feedback Pulse Select is enabled :
The feedback pulse signal is selected.
When Feedback Pulse Select is disabled :
The command pulse signal is selected.
(When Feedback Pulse Select is disabled, the command pulse signal is input to the deviation counter as a
command pulse as well as feedback pulse. In this case, the deviation amount is always "0.")
