REMOVAL AND DISASSEMBLY
FINAL GEAR CASE
• Remove the rear wheel. (See page 9-25)
• Place an oil pan under the final gear case and
remove the drian plug to drain out gear oil.
• Remove the final gear case from the swingarm
by removing the three nuts.
DRIVEN BEVEL GEAR
• Remove the final gear bearing case bolts.
• To remove the final gear bearing case from the
final gear case, use two 6 mm screws; screw
them into the holes provided and draw the cover
off evenly.
• Remove the oil seal from the final gear bearing
case by using the special tool.

CAUTION:
The removed oil seal should be replaced with
a new one.
