9-11 CHASSIS
• Take off front brake light switch.
• Place a cloth underneath the union bolt on the
master cylinder to catch spilled drops of brake
fluid. Unscrew the union bolt and disconnect
the brake hose/master cylinder joint.
CAUTION:
Completely wipe off any brake fluid adhering
to any part of motorcycle. The fluid reacts
chemically with paint, plastics, rubber mate-
rials, etc.
• Remove two clamp bolts and take off master
cylinder assembly.
• Remove the front brake lever.
• Remove reservoir cap and diaphragm.
• Drain brake fluid.
