3-9 ENGINE SERVICING
• Slide the clamp and disconnect the fuel hose
from the fuel pump.
• Loosen the clamp screw and remove the boot
from the secondary drive gearcase.
• Use a jack and wooden block, and hold the
engine assembly.
CAUTION:
When holding the engine with jack, place a
piece of wood on the jack or oil pan may be
damaged.
• Remove the engine mounting bolts and bracket
bolts.
• Remove the right frame down tube securing
bolts.
