WHEN CONNECTING TO THE NETWORK DIRECTLY
■ User registration
D To register a user (Continued)
• For the IC-7610
1. "User ID" setting
1. Push [MENU] to display the MENU screen.
2. Touch [SET] to enter the Set mode.
3. Touch [Network].
4. Touch "Network User 1."
5. Touch "Network User 1 ID."
6. Enter a user ID of up to 16 characters.
• You cannot register an already registered ID.
• Touch [←] or [→] for cursor movement.
• Touch [CLR] to delete the selected character.
• You can input an ID using a keyboard, connected to
the radio.

7. Touch [ENT] to set the User ID.

8. Touch "Network User1 Password."
9. Enter a Password of 8 to 16 characters, case-
sensitive.
At least two different characters must be used.

10. Touch [ENT] to set the Password.
3. Setting the user as an administrator
11. Touch "Network User1 Administrator."
12. Touch "YES" to set the user as an administrator.
Administrator Remote stations can terminate a
connection between another Remote station and
a radio.

L If necessary, repeat steps 3 through 12 to register
the other user.
13. Push [MENU] to exit the Set mode.
NOTE:
To remove a Remote station from the User List,
touch "Network User1 ID" or "Network User2 ID,"
and then touch [CLR] to delete the User ID.
The deleted Remote station will not be able to
access the Server.
