WHEN CONNECTING TO THE NETWORK THROUGH A PC

■ To monitor, or disconnect a Remote station

When you are operating as a Base station, and a Remote station is accessing a radio that is physically connected
to your PC, you can monitor the received and transmitted audio.
L To monitor, you should connect a speaker to your PC.
Moreover, you can terminate the connection between the Remote station and the radio.
Besides Base stations, administrator Remote stations can also terminate a connection between another Remote
station and a radio.
D To monitor the received or transmitted audio
1. In the Base station's Remote Utility, click the
<Radio List> tab.
2. Select a radio with "Busy" under its name.
The operating user's name (PC Name that
the Remote station set in the Network Setting
screen), and its IP address are displayed under
"Busy."
3. Click <Monitor> to display the Monitor screen.
4. Click <TX Monitor> to turn the Transmit Monitor
function ON or OFF.
Click <RX Monitor> to turn the Receive Monitor
function ON or OFF.
Slide the adjustment bar on the Volume field up
or down to adjust the monitoring audio volume
level.
5. Click <Close> to close the screen.
