Storage

CAUTION

Transport

CAUTION
Risk of injury and damage! Observe the
weight of the appliance when you transport
it.
Trailer operation
Note: The driver operating the towing vehi-
cle with trailer on public roads must ensure
that he or she has the appropriate license
(driver license class) for this.
DANGER
When transporting the trailer in public traffic
with the water tank half full, the water can
swap out or the trailer could even tilt during
extreme steering manoeuvres.
 Completely fill or empty the water tank.
Do not transport with the water tank half
full.
 Close front and rear cover.
 Adjust the height of the drawbar by
means of the support wheel to the
height of the trailer hitch of the towing
vehicle.
 Attach the tear-off rope to the towing
vehicle.

 Hitching the towing vehicle: Pull the
coupling lever up (open), place the
drawbar on the ball, push down the cou-
pling lever (close) until it is horizontal to
the drawbar.
 Connect the connector of the vehicle
lighting.
 Rotate the support wheel up by means
of the crank.
 Make sure that the suppport wheel
points in the direction of the trailer when
retracted.
 Remove the chocks from underneath
the wheels and place them in their hold-
ers.
 Release parking brake.

 Check the brake lights, direction indica-
tors, tail lights, and the license plate
lighting for proper function.
 Check tyre contact face for foreign ob-
jects.
 Check the condition of the tyres.
 Check the tyre pressure, see mainte-
nance tasks.
Note: Local speed limits for vehicles with
trailers must be observed and adhered to.
Transport by crane
Safety instructions for transport by
crane
DANGER
Risk of injury due to machine dropping.
– Adhere to the local accident prevention
guidelines and safety notes.
– Check the lifting unit for damage prior to
each transport by crane.
– The device must only be lifted on the
lifting eye.
– Protect the lifting device from inadvert-
ent load release.
– Do not transport any articles on the ap-
pliance during the lifting process.
– The appliance must only be transported
by properly trained crane personnel.
– Do not stand below the load.
– Ensure that no persons are present in
the immediate vicinity of the crane.
– Do not leave the appliance on the crane
unattended.

WARNING
Risk of injury! Device, tubes, high pressure
hose and connections must be in faultless
condition. Otherwise, the appliance must
not be used.
Install the device and align it
ATTENTION
Always keep the installation site of the sys-
tem well ventilated to protect the machine
against over-heating.
ATTENTION
Risk of malfunctions and damages to the
appliance. The appliance must be in hori-
zontal position during operation.
– Choose the installation site in a way
that the exhaust gas opening is not cov-
ered.
 Lock parking brake.
 Lower the support wheel by means of
the crank.
 Remove the tear-off rope from the tow-
ing vehicle.
 Disconnect the connector from the ve-
hicle lighting and insert it into the plug
storage on the drawbar.
 Secure the machine with wheel chocks
to prevent it from rolling away.
 Disconnect the towing vehicle.
 Align the appliance horizontally with the
support wheel.
 Check oil level of the engine.
Do not operate the appliance if the oil level
has fallen below "MIN".
 If required, top up oil carefully.

 Check the oil level at the oil-level gauge
of the intermediate gear.
 If required, top up oil carefully.
(see Chapter Care and Maintenance)
 Check the oil level at the oil tank of the
high-pressure pump.
 If required, top up oil carefully.

 Check the fill level of the coolant in the
equalisation container of the motor
coolant with a cooled off motor. The liq-
uid level has to be between MIN and
MAX.
 Refill coolant if necessary.

 Check the antifreeze concentration in
the expansion tank.
 If required refill antifreeze.
