REMOVAL
1 . REMOVE DOOR SCUFF PLATE
Using a screwdriver, remove the door scuff plate.

HINT:
Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
Employ the same manner described above to the other

REMOVE PACKAGE TRAY TRIM

REMOVE REAR SEAT (See page BQ-102)

4. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRAY
Using a clip remover, remove the 2 clips.
(a )
Using a screwdriver, remove the luggage compartment
(b )
tray.
HINT:
Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
5. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT MAT
6. REMOVE REAR DECK TRIM COVER
Remove the 2 bolts and 2 hooks
(a )
Remove the 3 clips.
(b)
Using a screwdriver, remove the rear deck trim cover.
(c)
HINT:
Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

REMOVE DECK TRIM SIDE PANEL

7.
Remove the screw and No. 1 luggage compartment trim

hook.
RH side:
(b)
Using a screwdriver, remove the rear room light, then dis­
connect the connector.
HINT:
Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
Remove the 2 clips.
(c)
Using a screwdriver, remove the deck trim side panel.
{d)
HINT:
Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
(e ) Employ the same manner described above to the other
side.
8. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK HINGES
Torque: 18 N-m (185 kgf.cm, 1 3 ft.Jbf)
REMOVE REAR SEATBACK LOCK STRIKERS
9.
Torque: 18 N-m (185 kgf-cm, 13 ft-lbf)
