Cleaning the Analyzer

You can clean the external housing of the Analyzer with a damp cloth using water or non-abrasive cleaners.
Turn off power to the Analyzer and disconnect it from main power prior to cleaning. Do not spray liquids directly
on the Analyzer. Wipe dry with a clean, soft cloth.
The touchscreen may be cleaned with a soft cloth or cotton pad lightly applied with a spray cleaner. Isopropyl
Alcohol may be used, but ensure that all solvent residue is removed. Water may cause damage or discoloration
of the polarizer. Clean any condensation or moisture from any source immediately. Before cleaning the screen,
you can temporarily deactivate touchscreen sensitivity for 30 seconds.
To deactivate the screen
1.
Press the Menu button and select the Maintenance tab.
2.
Press the Advanced button, and then press the Clean Screen button.

Cleaning the Gas-Liquid Separator

The gas-liquid separator requires periodic cleaning, when residue builds up inside. Water in the gas-liquid
separator is acidic.
To clean the gas-liquid separator
Contents are acidic. Wear eye protection and gloves during this procedure.

Shut down the Analyzer via the on-screen menu (Maintenance

Wait for the display to turn off, and then turn off power to the Analyzer using the main power switch on
the side of the Analyzer.
3.
Open the door of the Analyzer.
4.
Disconnect the tubing that connects to the barbs on the gas-liquid separator.
5.
Loosen the screw that secures the gas-liquid separator bracket, and pull the gas-liquid separator away
from the Analyzer.
6.
Gently pull the components of the gas-liquid separator apart over an appropriate waste receptacle and
dispose of the water.
7.
Rinse the gas-liquid separator with water to remove any residue inside it.
8.
Reassemble the gas-liquid separator.
9.
Fill the gas-liquid separator with DI water from the center port on top.
10. Secure the gas-liquid separator to the bracket by tightening the screw. Do not over-tighten.
