diagnostic test buttons may be pressed one after the other. The only components that will be activated when
the last button is pressed will be those components that are specified to be active during that last test.
Also, when you are finished performing the appropriate diagnostic tests, the Diagnostics screen appears. This
returns the components to their safe (unpowered) conditions again.

Pinch Valves

When you press the Pinch Valve button, the following screen appears:
Figure 64: The Pinch Valves Screen
Refer to Figure 53 to identify the valves and their locations. Pressing one of the buttons on the Pinch Valves
screen causes the valve to toggle open or closed. The energized or de-energized state of the valve is shown on
the button below its symbol as 1 or 0 respectively.
When the screen first appears, the valves are all in their unpowered states. For all pinch valves except V6-R, the
unpowered state is Closed. For V6-R, the unpowered state is Open.
V1-MS through V5-MS refer to the pinch valves in streams 1-5, respectively. Values V3-MS through V5-MS are not
installed in 2-stream Analyzers. V6-MS is for the Check Standard port and V7-MS is for the Vial port.
