Reviewing Solutions for Basic Problems
If a visual inspection of the Analyzer does not help you identify the source of the problem you are experiencing,
consult the specific problems discussed in this section.
The Analyzer Will Not Power On
If the power switch is on, but the display is not illuminated, touch the display. The Analyzer may be in Standby to
save power.
If the Analyzer will not power on, confirm that the power switch is on, and that the power cord is firmly seated at
both ends. Also, make sure that there is power to the outlet at the wall, surge protector, or circuit breaker.
Diagnostics
The diagnostics menus are designed to help you troubleshoot Analyzer issues with a GEAI technical support
representative.

When the Diagnostics screen appears (Maintenance
Diagnostics), all of the Analyzer components are in their
safe condition (valves, heaters, fans, pumps and so forth all are unpowered). When you start any one of the
following diagnostic tests, only the specific components that are defined below are activated. If you press the
Cancel or Back button, the activated components are immediately turned off again. As a result, several of the
