EVENT ACTION TAB – ADDING/MODIFYING EVENT RULE
Steps:

Under the Event Action tab of the Add/Modify Event Rule form, the following event action
settings can be configured:

Enable this option to start recording footage when the rule is triggered. Recording
options (Prebuffer and Postbuffer values, Attach Thumbnail/Face Image option) will

Click Go to Recording Configurations to edit
Enable this option to save an event log when the rule is triggered. Navigate to Setup
Save Event Log
Tab>Maintenance Menu> System Log settings page for access to system event logs.
Enable this option to have the camera send an email notification to a recipient of
your choosing whenever the rule is triggered. Email notification options (To and
Subject fields, Attach Thumbnail/Face Image, Attach Snapshot options) will be

An email recipient must be configured to enable this option. Click the Go to E-Mail

Enable this option to have the camera upload a notification (JPEG image with

Enable this option to have the camera send a push notification across an HTTP service
