Ch.3 Operation

3-5 Sleep Mode

The DRYPRO 793 incorporates a Sleep Mode.
Sleep Mode is the mode that allows the device automatically switches to power-save mode when an input on the
Operation Panel or print operation has not been conducted for a specific time while the device is in "READY" status.
1. Sleep Mode for the protection of the touch panel.
Turns OFF the display of the Touch Panel to save the power.
The Touch Panel Sleep Mode is activated when an input on the Operation Panel has not been conducted for a
specific time (time can be set using the "Sleep Mode" of the Maintenance Mode) while the device is in "READY"
status.
When this mode is activated, the Operation Panel will black out.
2. Sleep Mode for the HPRO Drum
Lowers the temperature of the HPRO Drum to save the power. This mode is activated by the same condition as
that for the Sleep Mode for the Operation Panel. Time can be set separately from that for the Sleep Mode for the
Touch Panel.
Upon activation, the temperature of the HPRO Drum decreases to a specific point and the Timer Lamp lights in
green. Once the HPRO Drum enters the Sleep Mode, it is necessary to start from warming up to restore the
READY status. The preset temperature of the HPRO Drum in the Sleep Mode has a direct relation to the time
required to restore the READY status of the device. Contact your technical representative for the setup considering
the power-save effect and the time required for restoring the READY status.
(In default, DRYPRO 793 is set up so that it restores "READY" to print after approx. 5 minutes)
Cancelling the Sleep Mode
How to cancel the Sleep Mode for Touch Panel Protection and restore the READY status
is detailed below.
