SNMP Host Table

Use the SNMP Host Table window to set up SNMP trap recipients. To configure SNMP Host Table entries, click
Configuration > SNMP Settings > SNMP Host Table:
The following parameters can set:
Parameter
Host IP Address
User-based Security
Model
Security Level
Community String/
SNMP V3 User Name
To implement your new settings, click Apply.

SNMP Engine ID

The Engine ID is a unique identifier used for SNMP V3 implementations. This is an alphanumeric string used to
identify the SNMP engine on the Switch. To display the Switch's SNMP Engine ID, click Configuration > SNMP
Settings > SNMP Engine ID:
To change the Engine ID, type the new Engine ID in the space provided and click the Apply button.

Description
Type the IP address of the remote management station that will serve as the SNMP host
for the Switch.
SNMPv1 - Specifies that SNMP version 1 will be used.
SNMPV2c - Specifies that SNMP version 2 will be used.
SNMPV3 - To specify that the SNMP version 3 will be used.
NoAuthNoPriv – To specify a NoAuthNoPriv security level.
AuthNoPriv - To specify an AuthNoPriv security level.
AuthPriv - To specify an AuthPriv security level.
Type in the community string or SNMP V3 user name as appropriate.
