• Use special care so that charging clips are
in a full contact with the terminal and that
they are not shorted. (A corroded clip of the
charger may cause the battery to generate
heat at the contact area. A weak clip spring
may cause sparks.)
• Before removing the clips from the battery
terminals , be sure to turn off the power
switch of the charger.
• Change in the open-circuit voltage of the
M F battery after being charged is shown
below. As shown in the figure, the open-
circuit voltage is stabilized 30 minutes after
charging has been completed .
Therefore, to check the condition of the
battery , measure the open-circuit voltage
30 minutes after charging has been com-
pleted.
