Out of specification -->Adjust.
Valve clearance (cold):
Intake:
O.05 ~ O.1 Omm(O.002 ~ O.004 in)
Exhaust:
O.12"'O.17mm(O.005"'O.007 in)
9 . Adjust:
• Valve clearance

Adjustment steps:
.Loosen the locknut
CD.
• Insert a Feeler Gauge
®
between the
adjuster end and the valve end.
• Turn the adjuster
CD
clockwise or counter-
clockwise with the valve adjusting tool
®
until proper clearance is obtained.
Valve adjusting tool:
PI N . YM-08035
PI N .90890-01311
• Hold the adjuster to prevent it from moving
and thoroughly tighten the locknut .
