Locknut:
14 Nm(1.4 mokg o 10 ft-lbl

.Measure the valve clearance .
• If the clearance is incorrect, repeat above
steps until the proper clearance is obtained.

10. Install:
-Plugs
-Tappet cover(intake)
-Tappet cover (exhaust)
-Spark plug
11. Connect:
- Leads (ignition coil)
- Spark plug cap
12. Install:
- Bolts(ignition coil bracket)
Tappet cover(exhaust):
12 Nm (1.2 m·kg,8. 7 ft·lb)
Bolt(tappet cover-intake):
10 Nm (1.0 m'kg, 7.2 ft·lb)
Spark plug:
18 Nm (1.8 m'kg, 13 ft'lb)
NOTE: ________________________ __
The tappet cover (intake) should be installed
with the arrow mark

upward.
13. Install:
- Fuel tank
-Cover
-Air scoops
- Side covers
-Seat
Refer to the "SEAT, FUEL TANK AND
COVER"section.
Bolt (seat):
1 0 Nm (1.0 m·kg, 7.2 ft'lb)
