2 . Install :
• Gear unit assembly
NOTE: ________________________ __
Make sure the projections on the meter clutch
are meshed with the flats in the wheel hub.
3. Install:
• Front wheel assembly
NOTE: ________________________ __
Be sure the boss on the outer fork tube correct-
ly engages with the locating slot on the gear
unit assembly .
4 . Tighten :
• Wheel axle
CD
• Nut (axle holder)
®
Wheel axle:
58 Nm (5.8 mokg, 42 ft°lb)
Nut (axle holder):
9 Nm (0.9 mokg, 6.5 ftolb)
NOTE: ________________________ __
The axle holder should be installed with the
arrow mark

facing upward .
First tighten the nuts on the upper side

of
the axle holder, and then tighten the nuts on
the lower side

Space
Make sure that the speedometer cable
CD
are
routed properly. Refer to the "CABLE ROUT-
ING" in the CHAPTER 3.
