Ring nut (initial tightening):
38 Nm (3.8 m'kg, 27 ft·lb)
.Loosen the ring nut one turn .
• Retighten the ring nut using the ring nut
wrench.
A ""ARNING
Avoid over-tightening.
Ring nut (final tightening):
6 Nm (0.6 m'kg, 4.3 ft'lb)
.Tighten the bolts (steering shaft and handle
crown)
.
Bolt (steering shaft):
72 Nm (7.2 m
·
kg. 52 ft'lb)
Bolt (handle crown):
23 Nm (2.3 m·kg. 17 ft'lb)
.Install the cover (fuel tank)
