BRAKE LIGHT SWITCH ADJUSTMENT
NOTE: ________________________ __
eThe brake light switch is operated by move-
ment of the brake pedal.
e Proper adjustment is achieved when the
brake light comes on just before the brake
begins to take effect.
1 . Hold the switch body

with your hand so
that it does not rotate and turn the adjusting
nut @ .
BRAKE HOSE INSPECTION
1. Inspect :
e Brake hose
Crack/Damage ~
Replace.
Refer to the "FRONT AND REAR BRAKE"
section in the CHAPTER
6
for replace-
ment.

AWARNING
Bleed the brake system if:
e The system has been disassembled .
e A brake hose has been loosened or
removed.
eThe brake fluid is very low.
e The brake operation is faulty.
A dangerous loss of braking performance
may occur if the brake system is not properly
bled.
