_ STEERING HEAD INSPECTION
First tighten the bolts on the front side of the
handlebar holder, and then tighten the bolts
on the rear side.
Bolt (Handlebar):
20 Nm (2.0 m•kg, 14 ft•lb)

WARNING:
Always adjust each shock absorber to the
same setting. Uneven adjustment can cause
poor handling and loss of stability.

STEERING HEAD INSPECTION

1. Place the motorcycle on its centerstand, then
elevate the front wheel.
2. Check:
•Steering assembly bearings
Grasp the bottom of the forks and gently
rock the fork assembly back and forth.
Looseness~Adjust
steering head.
