REAR SHOCK ABSORBER ADJUSTMENT

.WARNING
.
This shock absorber contains highly pressu-
rized nitrogen gas. Read and understand the
following information before handling the
shock absorber. The manufacture cannot be
held responsible for property damage or per-
sonal injury that may result from improper
handling.
• Do not tamper with or attempt to open the
cylinder assembly.
• Do not subject shock absorber to an open
flame or other high heat source. This may
cause the unit to explode due to excessive
gas pressure.
• Do not deform or damage the cylinder In
any
way.
Cylinder damage will result
in
poor damping performance.
1. Adjust:
•Spring preload
Adjustment steps:
• Elevate the rear wheel by placing the suita-
ble stand.
• loosen the locknut

•Adjust the spring preload.
NOTE:
The length of the spring {Installed) changes 1.0
mm (0.04 in) per
tum
of
the
adjuster.
