Put at least five sheets of white
paper over the Gradation
Adjustment Chart and close the
document cover.

Select [Start].
The message "Gradation adjustment is in progress. Copy Job" appears and the
machine automatically adjusts the gradation. It takes about 20 seconds to complete the
gradation adjustment.
When the adjustment is completed successfully, the [Auto Gradation Adjustment]
screen (for screen type settings) appears again. If there is a problem, the machine
stops the adjustment and displays an error message. Solve the problem in accordance
with the displayed error message.

To continue automatic gradation adjustment for other screen types, repeat steps 6 to
12.

Select [Close] repeatedly until the [System Settings] screen is displayed.

Select [Exit] to exit the System Administration mode.

Make a copy to check the image quality.
