Sending a Job to a File Server
You can send a job to a Windows 95/98/Me server, a Windows NT server, a
Windows 2000/XP server, a NetWare server, or an FTP server. This feature
enables you to specify the document name and the file type of the image you are
sending.

IMPORTANT
•
When you send a job to an FTP server, be sure to enter characters in ASCII code. If you
enter characters in a code other than ASCII code, the name of the sending document
cannot be displayed correctly at the sending destination.
•
If you enter the characters not recognizable by the operation system of the file server you
are sending to, you may not be able to send your image or document.
