Platform Leveling
Master Cylinder
The master cylinder acts as a pump for the slave
cylinder. It's part of the closed circuit hydraulic loop
that keeps the platform level through the entire
range of boom motion. The master cylinder is
located at the base of the primary boom.
How to Remove the Platform
Leveling Master Cylinder
1 Raise the secondary boom until both the rod-
end and barrel-end pivot pins on the master
cylinder are accessible.
2 Tag, disconnect and plug the master cylinder
hydraulic hoses. Cap the fittings on the
cylinder.
