PRIMARY BOOM COMPONENTS
How to Remove the Cable Track,
Z-45/25J Models
When removing a hose assembly
or fitting, the O-ring on the fitting
and/or hose end must be replaced
and then torqued to specification
during installation.
Refer to Section Two, Hydraulic
Hose and Fitting Torque
Specifications.
1 Remove the platform control box mounting
fasteners.
2 Remove the foot switch access hole cover plate
fasteners. Remove the cover plate.
3 Remove the foot switch mounting fasteners
from the platform.
4 Remove the foot switch through the back of the
platform through the access hole and set it
aside.
5 Remove the platform control box and set it
aside.

6 Tag, disconnect and plug the hydraulic hoses
from the "V1" and "V2" ports on the
counterbalance valve manifold located on the
platform rotator. Cap the fittings on the
manifold.
7 Tag and disconnect the hydraulic hoses from
the platform leveling slave cylinder at the union
and connect them together using a connector.
Connect the hoses from the cylinder together
using a connector.
8 Tag, disconnect and plug the hydraulic hoses
from the jib boom/platform rotate manifold. Cap
the fittings on the manifold.

connections very slowly to allow
the oil pressure to dissipate
gradually. Do not allow oil to
squirt or spray.
