To connect a QSFP+ direct-attach cable:

Holding the QSFP+ connector by its sides, insert the connector into the port on the switch.

Connecting Console Ports for a Stack

To begin the software configuration for a new stack, you must have at least one console port
connected
Connect a console to the console port of the switch that you intend to become the master of the stack.
If you are going to configure redundancy, you may wish to connect to the console ports of all switches
in the stack that you will configure to be master-capable. If you followed the cabling examples in
Connecting the Switches to Form the Stack
only slots 1 and 2 will be allowed to become master.
