Read the information in this chapter thoroughly before you attempt to install or remove a Summit
switch.

Specifications
Caution
Be sure that proper ESD controls are in use before switch maintenance is performed. This
includes but is not limited to wrist straps that are grounded to the switch chassis and earth
grounds.
Warning
Be sure to connect the chassis ground wire before you connect any DC power cables.
Be sure to disconnect the ground wire after you disconnect all DC power cables.

X430-8p, X460, X480, X650, X670 and X770 Series)
